Hailing from the original Sin City (Newport, KY), the Minni-Thins were a notoriously loud indie rock band with an old school punk rock approach to making music. Their award winning first album, "In Black Cause I Asked" was an ode to drunken fun and self loathing. Their sophomore effort, "That Old Kentucky Blackgrass" took this theme, filtered it through a psychedelic horror film, and got perverse.
